Question Which Longacre Valve?

Hi Guys. What is the difference between the 2 valve heads supplied with the analog Longacre gauge? Attached is a chrome angled one with a black screw off head that houses a small brass bit. Not sure what this is for 'cause it isn't esplained on the site. The supplementary one is a brass Schrader valve which looks like the one to use. Thanks. Ronnie.

I used both types at my last track weekend. The chrome one swivels and is much easier to use regardless of where the valve is situated when you park the car. You don't screw off the end of the chrome one, you use as is.

Oh, so they both do the same thing? Black one looks like it would leak air.

Ronnie, post a picture and I'll compare it to my Longacre.

The one on the right is how my Longacre is terminated. It should swivel and the black end should fit over the valve stem securely. I found this end much easier to use than the brass end because of the swivel functionality.
