+1.

I'm a big fan of him, he has amazing reviews and a sick car control.

Interesting comments on the 991 here. He is usually a rabid Porsche fan.

Great video, Chris Harris just does it right. The only issue I have some times with Chris Harris and other English auto journalist is there always a bit bias towards English cars like the Jags and Mclarens.

I don't feel it is a bias but more an appreciation that British companies (McLaren and Jaguar) are actually building amazing cars.

Like you said he's normally a Porsche fan but he and other journos are gushing over the new F-Type.

imo, the management at tata motors needs to be applauded in recent times.

range/land rover imo doing better then ever and jaguar is looking to change the playing field in its class.

i was quite impressed with this car and review. a sexy coupe with 550 hp; looking to be good value/$.

I like the new F-type too, but c'mon, Chris..."the 911's a little weak at the moment"?
He's had too much of the Jag Kool-Aid.

i think he refers to 'stats numbers' based on the car cost.

I actually agree.

For the price of a base 911, this is fairly mouth watering, power and styling-wise.

A new base 911 wouldn't get a second look (from me).

They are different cars, though, on the GT scale.

Cheers

Matt

Not knocking the F Type, from what I've read and watched looks like a great car. But I'm sure Chris Harris is kicking himself he sold his GT3 RS 4.0 2 years ago for a 599 still.

I get where he's coming from.

The 991 is much more "just a car" to me than any Porsche before. Frankly it's like an E-Class coupe IMO. The new GT3 seems pretty hot though ;-)

The new Turbo? Again, just seems too calculating...too much maybe? I dunno...just doesn't do it for me.

I do like the looks of the Targa and I can't wait to see what madness Porsche unleashes with the GT3RS.

For sure. The 4.0 would have appreciated as much as the 599 depreciated!

Great car for sure..but still not successfully challenging the .5 million plus car like a 911.

Are you saying the 911 challenges $250,000 performance cars?

Not at all sir,
Just saying the 911 challenges cars priced at well more than twice it's price- well into the half mill bracket.
