looking for an up to 8 camera system with 1080p and dvr with at least 1tb and incoming bandwidth should be 80 mbps at least.
looking at tiger direct, costco, best buy so far. anybody have any suggestions.
the technology is very cool, may put a setup at home soon . another cool option is dropcam (probably too much bandwidth for me with many cameras) and door cam is very cool if you haven't seen it.

Both Tiger and Costco stuff are good bang for the buck and usually ok for usual residential use. Here's what really professional stuff looks like. http://sentry360.com

Hey Dan,
I can help you out with what you need. I can get you the HD DVR and cameras with much larger HDD. Call me and we can discuss if you like, that is if you haven't picked up something already. Lots of options available and pricing is very good, at wholesale that is!!

I have the professional grade system and it is head and shoulders better than my neighbour's system from Costco. At night you can barely see someone on his system, where mine is crystal clear.
