It appears this winter has destroyed almost every road in the GTA. I have been paying attention to all the streets I travel as well as highway ramps.
It really concerns me that I will destroy the tires/wheels no matter how carefully I try to avoid them. There is just no escaping them. Some areas are just riddled with deep large ones that there is no way to drive around them, but driving through them will definitely cause damage sooner or later to our rims and tires.
This is likely the worst year yet for road conditions.

It's terrible, I live close to the Dufferin Mall and Dufferin street some ares and secondary roads are a nightmare
GTA west end roads have taken an absolute beating in my area. My DD '12 Ford Exploder can barely handle them, how the hell will my lowered 993 cope? Not looking forward to the damage which almost seems a given at this point.

So true. Last night in my buddies 997 turbo on king-Vaughn doing 70km/h was pretty messy.
The entire road from bathhurst to keele pretty much completely covered by potholes.
I guess I'm showing my age when I remark that the one thing I always cherished about Toronto in the 70's and 80's was the incredibly smooth roads. No matter where I drove through the States I had to watch for broken road surfaces (especially the Northern US) but once back in T.O. it was sheer bliss from the QEW back into Toronto... the roads around the GTA now remind me of dodging potholes on the Detroit turnpikes in my '72 Corvette back in the day... what the hell is happening here?

lots more undeground utility work being done these days with all of the development in the City, and the private contractors who dig up the roads and then repair them are using substandard asphalt and generally doing a sh*tty job on the repairs.
Here's what happens here in California when you're driving during an Earth Quake... Well not really but it's a pretty amazing recovery on a wheel which was no longer available for this customer.
Good Luck out there....
