Default Revew: Uber-Shine

I just got back from Uber-Shine in Newmarket where I had a great time chatting with the owner, Sim, while I watched him work on my car. He has a great little place set-up there in a great location not far from the 404 and you can see he truly is passionate about Porsches and cars in general. I have been disappointed before with details I have gotten, but not today!

I opted for the Uber-Wash and at $60.0 this is a steal! Watching him work was a true pleasure, as watching any expert/master at their craft work usually is. And Sim really is a master, having been in the business since the '70s, he used to be the main polisher at Pfaff. He certainly went above and beyond with my car today and I will certainly be returning in the future.

I have already sent several friends his information for them to take their cars to him. I suspect his shop will be Uber busy very soon.

He took some pics of my car and is going to post them on his site later tonight.

Sim is a member here, username: 1990944S2

his web-site is:

Thanks, good to know.
Newmarket's certainly closer, for me, than Toronto...will have to book a visit.

Way more than I expected! See the web-site for a description of what that package includes. He can do whatever you want, just talk to him. He posted pictures of my car on his facebook site.

That particular 4S above is a photo one of my compound polish projects when I was still with Pfaff. I'm now in the building across the street (in this photo.). ...Oh, and Chimcu, what's a juke?

The one thing that I do find rather difficult about my trade, is the occasional experience of having a certain car roll in for polishing that triggers a considerable increase in blood pressure. I love almost every model Porsche ...but the 993 is definitely one my favorites. 993 Turbo WB.jpg

I visited today as well with the 993 chose the Uber Seller package as the old girl had been neglected for a bit. Sim did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend his services.
