Thank you everyone for the input. A lot of great advise! Maybe a bit if context is necessary.

The things I want to start with are pretty simple and I probably don't need an expert garage right now but I look at this as a good opportunity to start some good relationships.

I'm definitely a newbie and don't feel the need to do much after just 3 DE weekends with the upper canada Porsche club, but a couple things are definitely needed. And after my first season of driving I'm definitely hooked for life!

The first thing I want to do is set-up my peddles to make heal-toe easier. The factory peddles are just too far apart for the roll and my feet don't seem to fit the heal kick. After sitting in docs GT2 and playing with his Vostek peddles I realized that this was a must.

The second thing I want to change is to put a dedicated set of track wheels and tires on. After 3 DE weekends plus my daily commuting I went through my first set of tires and realized this is going to be constantly reoccurring theme. I was looking for a used set of OEM centre locks but most of the wheels available seem to be off the GT3s which have different widths and offsets. I'm not sure if these would work as someone posted earlier in this thread I don't want to upset the nannies as they definitely saved my *** and my new car a couple times last season. I plan on running Michelin PSCs.

As far as things like camber and suspension go I don't think I'm anywhere close to messing with that, though this might help with the inordinate amount of outside edge wear my tires had. Though it's probably just my driving (or my tire pressures or......)

Keep the comments coming. All info at this stage is greatly appreciated!!!

Ok thanks for the clarification
As far as pedals go, a gas pedal extension is what you want to help with your heel-toe 'ing, (I have a new Rennline one I'd be willing to sell ). I personally find Porsche pedals are always setup perfectly for me stock, but many prefer an extension...
Used set of 997tt/GT3RS/GT2RS wheels are what you need as they all share the widebody sizing(either Porsche or quality aftermarket Finspeed, CCW, BBS, etc.) and can size down to 18" for better tire options if you wanted to.
Many better tires options for the money vs MPSC. Re-11, Advan AD08R, etc.
Find a quality alignment shop and have negative camber increased front and rear, also consider pushing the toe value closer to 0 on both axles, particularly in the front.

Start with getting a good set of tires then re-evaluate... street tires can mask a lot of things...

Afterwords maybe get a corner balance, lower it, and alignment depending on what your tire wear is telling you. You wont get anything useful from street tire wear unless you exclusively track the car.

just to note, you can't corner balance a Turbo without getting coilovers.

I'd convert you CL to 5 lug wheels. Much easier switching track tires back and forth and side to side.

EU Autowerks did an awesome job setting up my 997.1 Turbo for track duty (while still being good for DD). I also live downtown…it’s worth the drive. Even if you’re relatively new to the track, a more aggressive alignment will help tire wear and get rid of a lot of the understeer that TT’s come with from the factory.

Before I spend to much time searching the aftermarket let me ask you guys if there is any concern about the differences in size between the OEM GT2/3 RS and the TT?

997.2 TT Factory Centerlock wheel sizing:
19x8.5 ET 56 235/35R19
19x11 ET 51 305/30R19

997.2 Factory RS wheel spec (GT3 RS and GT2 RS):
19x9 ET 47 245/35R19
19x12 ET 48 325/30R19

RS front 3mm towards outside(more clearance), and extends 15mm outward(less clearance)
RS rear extends 10mm more inward(less clearance) and 16mm more outward(less clearance)
