Default Wrong Regional group or does it matter

I was just re-reading the definition of the PCA regional groups for Zone 1 and I'm confused. I first thought since I lived near Ottawa that I was in Upper Canada Region but now that I look at it again, I think I'm in Rennsport Region. Should I change that with PCA.ORG? Does it matter?

Maybe that's why the people at the fun run in Niagara are ignoring my emails when I keep mentioning I'm from Ottawa.

Hi,

If you live near Ottawa , you are definitely in the Rennsport group.

Just contact Chris at membership@rennsport.ca he will point you in the right direction to change your info.

It doesn't matter which group you are in,but you won't be in our mailing list to get the region news and activities.

With PCA you can opt to be in another region than the normally designated Geographic region. We have two members from Washington State in Canada West and there was no issue with them changing their region officially with PCA.org.

And I'm in Vancouver now, but am still a UCR member. I like Provinz.
