God, I love this country: 14' high snow drift!!
went by north toronto cruise last weekend, awesome snow banks/drifts
I'd say one drift was about 14' high. Would be great to take a pic standing
on the roof of my car and still not reaching the top of the drift!!!
Should be really good conditions for this weekends cruise.
Getting wacked again today with lots of snow and light snow forecast for Sat, the day before the cruise.
God, I love this country. As long as you keep things legal and don't bother anybody, you can do anything you want, like organize winter cruises almost every weekend.
Thank you Lord, for some of the best rally roads in the world and for all snowplow men and women, who regrade the snowy roads before every weekend into virtual runway smooth empty racetracks while the city slickers cocoon and stay home to watch TV.......
and for modern winter tire technology and 4 wheel drive to get that awesome grip
for 300 to 400 horses under the hood
and for rally techniques like e-brake turns and scandanavian flicks ( to make a left hand turn, flick steering wheel 20 deg to right to roll 3,000 lbs of weight left in the direction you want to go, then turn left
for rally lights that light up the roads at night like the noon day sun
and for all the old roads than go up and down and all around ( road 13 = 135 corners in 35 km) before modern construction equipment made roads boring
and for more than enough food and a roof over our heads so we have the free time to do more rally driving in one weekend than pro drivers do in an entire year in a rally series
