This is a real Targa.
I like it.
I also like the retro Targa font.
That which is old is new again.
We just need it in Copper Brown for the Iceman
Think we are going to need about 100G for the iceman too...

Doesn't everybody have 2 mortgages?

What's interesting is it's only a 4 & 4S. Maybe a regular 2wd next year?
And at least you can get a stick.

997 Targas only came in AWD, so I would not expect things to change. The vast majority of 911s that we sell (particularly in Canada) are AWD, too.

C4S Targa, sounds like an expensive nick name for complicated AWD systems and intricate roof mechanisms that cost fortune to fix when not if they fail!

I don't think the top is any more complicated than any of the other hard top convertibles out there fand I've no heard of any maintenance issues with those as of yet.

I'd say less so. It appears to be pretty much the same approach as with a regular convertible top. That's the genius of it.

Not to mention...who cares? 4 year lease and then it's someone else's problem.

Thought it was funny when I watched the end of the video, the screen mutli splits to show thumbnails of related videos, and dead centre was a thumbnail of a brown targa...it was an 88, but close enough...
Cheers!

Good video here.
No music, no narration. Just video and engine.
Still need a whale tail though.

I'm shocked by how much I absolutely love this car. I've always preferred the look of the aircooled cars - the newer ones are great but don't have the beauty of the older ones, IMO.

Except this. I think this might be the best looking targa Porsche has ever made.

And I really feel weird saying that
