Great memories. I watched that series religiously and still have them on taped VHS somewhere.

It's ironic to think that I believed that the state of motorport in canada at the time was pretty sad.
Today, I think back to the privilege of having f2000, Honda Michelin, GM players, Rothmans Porsche often at the same venue.

You know when they say, "We had it good, and didn't really know."?

 

Sure brings back memories ... i started flagging in 89 and that lasted 11 years !
In those days on the old Tremblant track you could almost whack the cars with
the blue flag in some corners,that's how close we were to the action.

I was in my 1988 honda Civic 13oo, racing the preseason regional races with the Turbo cup, Players trans AM, and the Honda/Michelin series. 23 years old and scared.
