Default Jack Stands

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to find out if I can purchase AC/ESCO jack stands in Canada.... Pelican has them but I'm sure I would have to pay duty for the order.

If you have a lead, let me know.

Thanks,

Alin

Thanks,

I e-mailed a rep because some of the links don't work and some of those locations don't have them...

I've searched around like you looking for those in Canada. I eventually bit bullet and got them from Pelican.

Also, not sure if they made a mistake or not or confused me for an employee but I got them for dirt cheap..... $44 CAD a pop.

Thank you for this, Topaz.
At the premacanada.ca website, what looks like an ESCO jackstand goes under the name of AME-14980, no price mentioned!
Now, if these guys were also selling the AC Hydraulics low profile jack that Pelican sells, I would be really interested.
Nothing wrong with Pelican, it is just the fact that our CDN dollar is tanking down to .94 US at the present time on top of brokerage fee concerns.

Pelican is an amazing source for parts! But like you mentioned, after shipping and duty fee's, it's not always worth it especially in this case as the parcel would be large.

My next researched item is a jack as well.... If anyone has any info on a light low pro jack, let me know.

Thanks,

Alin

Alin - glad you found a source local to you as yes, the shipping and duties are tough especially on heavier items.

All the best!

I've used a $20 pair of Jackstands from Cdn Tire from 15 yrs ago. No problems. If you are worried about marring the underside, a piece of rubber, carpet or hockey puck on the top will work.
