Restoring VIN 461450
Back in August I stumbled across 1967 912 driver on Kijiji. Car was in Oakville, so my two boys (12 and 7) and I went to take a look. Long story short, this is what it looks like after we removed whatever we could at home. Tomorrow morning I will deliver it to Brent @ Hunter Motorsports for engine/trany removal, along with other bits and pieces. After that, the car is going to Mike @ Restoration Design for cutting and welding.
I will post more info/pics about COA, '67 year-of-manufacture Ontario Blue plates, that I got with the car, when I get a chance.
P.S. This is our first project, so the Boys and I appreciate any and all comments/tips.

Congrats.
Oh and I love white Porsches
saw a blue 912 outside my office the other day...looked in similar condition to yours.

All last week car spent at Hunter Motorsports having its motor, transmission, gas tank and bumpers removed, along with other bits and pieces. Brent said he found nothing unexpected during removal. Next week he will resent me with a few quotes. One being a 1735cc kit that apparently kicks a$$. However, the motor was strong and I don't really have to spend any more then I need to.

Restoration Design
Some of you might have heard about Restoration Design in Guelph. Mike and his crew are now running a high quality replacement sheet metal business for early Porsches, VWs and BMWs. Many years ago Mike was in the business of restoring early Porsches. I am really lucky that Mike agreed to work on my car. Just to give you an idea of how out-of-the-norm this is for RD at the moment: we had to get the car up onto a trailer dock, as the building does not have a ramp for cars anymore.
At the back, I found an Aga Blue car (911 or 912) a complete rust bucket. notice a Red leather interior, must have been a pretty car.

This is currently my favourite thread on Rlist! Keep up the great posts Stan!
PS: As long as we're spending your money for you, the 1735cc kit sounds like the way to go!
