My best friend showed me how to do it years ago. I did it on my heavy duty truck one time out in the boonies. I was driving 115 last night, and didn't notice anything wrong with the tire at all since I plugged it.
Puncture sure.
But this was a Freddy Krugar 1" slice so tire was scrap.

So my sticker expires while the car is in storage.
If I get a eTest now, how long is it good for?
With the new test being code reading only, can I pretty much go anywhere?
Ask me how I know?

My Emissions Test is due 3/2014
But my car is an odd # year - 97.
Because it is Pre 98 - IT is ok to test before Winter Expiry.

FYI - My car has a CEL Light -(Vacuum Leek- SAI) And It Passed.

Pre '98s get the tail pipe sniffer so it doesn't matter of the check engine light is on.
