Anyone know of a good place to get a proper leak down and compression test for a 993TT in Sault Ste. Marie Canada?

Or somewhere close to that?

Thanks Guys!!!

All shops have a compression tester the lealdown tester is more rare but I would try calling the large dealers first or if there are any exotic or speed shops.

While they are not Porsche experts by any means my 2 choices in the Soo would be:

1. Top Tech
2. Classic Automotive

drive the car, if it runs good and has good oil pressure and doesn't smoke...buy it
never understood why the 993 forum/crowd is so over the top about leak-down tests, air-cooled 911's are the easiest cars out there to tell if running right or not...

You don't have to be a Posche expert to do a leakdown test. It's the same procedure for all piston engines and so is a compression test. Find a shop that does it and take it there.
