Wow! The Lamborghini split in half instantly. It did not look like a heavy impact and I'm surprised how the lambo did not hold up

I could be wrong, but I believe the carbon fibre tub is designed to split like that.... passenger compartment is well protected and remains entirely intact.

Yeah, seems its designed that way. Clearly the fault of the other driver turning left into the Lambos path. Paging Jimmy Dean.

I think the rear tube structure carrying the engine basically tore out at it's bolts but the tub remained intact. It's a carbon fibre tub with front and rear bolt on strutures isn't it. That Mazda driver's gonna have some insurance premium increase. Number one cause of accidents is failing to yield.
