Looking at buying a 2014 Panamera 4S from a Porsche Dealer. It's in stock, priced around $140,000.
How much of a discount should I try and negotiate off list price?
Will they often give a discount on the add-on fee's, such as freight etc?
Going to have them tint the windows and maybe apply the 3M skin on the front. Am I pushing it too far if I ask for a discount on the add-on's, future service or detailing?
I want to get the best price I can of course ... without pushing it too far![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks!

Not sure what the market is like right now. You should be able to get 4-5% off list price, i suppose. I doubt you'll get a reduction on freight or dealer fees, but you can definitely try to get some maintenance thrown in the deal. good luck with your purchase

If the car is in stock, I would start at >5% and work down from there. With Oakville and London now up and running, there is more competition than ever for these cars which have a limited market to begin with. I got 5% off a 997 Turbo which I ordered to my specs back in 2008 when there was only Pfaff and Downtown. Good luck.

I agree about starting the negotiation above 5%. I also would do the serious negotiations via email so you don't get suckered into making a rash decision while at the dealership! Our brains don't work too well when we are surrounded by the very item we want to buy...

^^ good advice re negotiation via email. I used this method to negotiate my wife's car and it worked like a charm.

+3 and negotiate via email to really drive the price in your favour once you locate the car you are after
let someone else take the initial depreciation hit
