My buddy had a first gen too. The rear suspension points rotted out. Had to cut the trunk floor out and fabricate some structure using algle iron from bed frame rails. This "fix" lasted a year then it was sold.

Ha, probably every weekend between now and April '14!! I'm still in the tool and parts collection phase before I roll up the sleeves and put the lift to good use.

Hi Jacob, it was great to meet you on Sunday, congrats on the lift have fun!

I'm going to try to have a look at the other scissor lift that you mentioned, this weekend.
