My car threw a CEL tonight and my code reader is not able to connect to the car (but it connects to my other car no problem).

Ive heard that some readers have trouble with some cars, and Ive never connected this reader to my Pcar, so I dont know if the problem is the reader or the port.

Anyone have one I can swing by and plug into? Im Beaches.

I have one that works with my OBD2 993. I'm on the west-end though. I can meet you half way if you're in a bind!

 

New thought! Can someone bring one to cars and coffee tomorrow at Sherway? That way its not out of your way!

 

Have you tried the Parts Source, is the one at Midland/Sheppard close to you?

I went to the Parts Source near me a couple of months ago to do a pre check to make sure no faults are stored, and their reader had no issues connecting to my OBD-II car, I was going to get a reader but decided to save the money knowing I can just go to Parts Source the odd times I need it.

 

I have one at Bayview and 401 and should be around most of the weekend.
