Porsche watch repair?
My 911 sport chrono rubber watch band broke - does anyone know where you can take them for a new band? It's the model that the rubber band continues all around the edge of the watch.
This one (except for the turbo script - just 911):
Broke on the adjustment hole. Rubber made by Continental? - the brand of rubber that caused me three blow outs in 1.5 years?...

Little Shop of Horology in Mississauga might be able to help or point you in the right direction. Also try the RL watch subforum. Lots of watch experts there too. GL.

I had a band problem with a Porsche Turbo watch and was sent to Fossil Watches in the US. They insisted I send to them which of course is a PITA cross border. I wound up getting a leather band up here that worked. I think they were in Arizona. I got the information from the Porsche Dealer I bought the watch from.

I had the band replaced by Fossil - they are in Dallas, TX. They only charged for shipping. The process was easy - ship, repair, return. It took about 3-weeks. The repair centre is: Metro Service Center, ATTN Repairs, 10615 Sanden Drive, Dallas, TX 75238, 1.800.842.8621. Google Fossil Watch Repair - it takes you to Canadian site, but you can down load the US repair form - "click here to down load form (US customers only) - its in the brown highlighted box named "Should Service Be Required

There is a Porsche boutique on Bloor & Bay, you can check with them.
Also call Donovan Thomas at 416-595-9709, this is the Watch Service Center of Canada located at 40 Hayden Street in Toronto, it is the repair shop for many high-end watches sold by La Swiss stores, which used to carry Porsche Design watches but not anymore, although they may still have parts. See http://www.watchrepairscanada.com for more info. Tell Donovan I sent you.

The watch in the picture is not a Porsche Design Watch. It is out of the Porsche Advertising items catalogue. Sometimes these items are referred as "Porsche Design Selection" but they are not the true "Porsche Design".

I as well - from dealer with WPO #. Dealer directed me to TX. I did try the CDN repair centre - but they did know about p-watches. As above, the repair process in the USA was very easy.
