All - does anyone know the history of the 993 Turbo that is for sale at Prestige in Montreal? Before I invest in a PPI, wondering if any of you know any history about the car. The sales guys there knows little or nothing about it. Please PM me and thanks.

I may be terribly mistaken, but something tells me this may have been the car discussed some time ago, under threads by "youyou" ( if you do the search, lots of pages ) Car was $68,000 at the time.

It has been involved in accident and repainted....check the carfax.
It also has a red dash, steering wheel and interior not to my taste.
Car has 70k Kms which from my memory is too high for your previously stated criteria. Car is also overpriced at 79k. Good luck!

Color is subjective and really does not matter what any one else thinks, if you like it is what only matters. There is no accounting for taste, period.
As far as price goes, most here say it is high.... but if you like it, that's whats counts if you plan on keeping the car. Lots of room to negotiate then. Oscar Wilde once said "He who knows the price of everything knows the value of nothing" ...
What matters most is the history as the previous posters have stated, accidents or resprays whatever... then you can make an informed decision.

If that checks out my next question is would you be willing to take it to the body shop of my choice for an inspection! I usually don't want sales people opinions on a car. I can form my own.
