Car came in before winter started.
We had already done some work on it before, Installed a White RSS Roll Cage.
This time we installed a Set of 6-Point Schroth Harness for the Customer.
Here are some pictures Enjoy.

i always thought harnesses in street cars were ilegal ! is that not true or do you just use regular seatbelts on the street ?

well the thing is that Factory Belts have Pre Tensioners which work with the Safety Equipment on the Car... In that sense it does what it should.

When forces of deceleration might be extreme as in autoracing and black/red run group (had to put that in), the harness prevents all forward motion of the body and secures you in place during a rollover thus protecting your life. It also prevents you from hitting the rollbar which also protects your life. Down side it lets the full force of deceleration transfer to your neck and cervical column. That transmission of force while mitigated with a seatbelt is not available with harnesses and hence harnesses are not approved for street use.
My opinion, and it is only MY opinion here, is that if you are going to use a harness, then use a HANS device, for whatever protection it provides, it helps slow down the forward motion of your neck allowing the kinetic energy time to dissipate further and prevent serious neck injury or paralysis.
This is just my opinion, not a surmon or lesson, but I do see in my daily travels these exact type of injuries and I pray that no one out there has to experience the result of a catastrophic neck injury.
the first thing I bought at Sportscar Boutique over 2 years ago was a HANS device.
Sorry I didn't buy my helmet from you Zook
