You guys got some pretty cool jobs.
I'm a carpenter, been at it for 10 years now.
Started when I was 16 framing houses, moved to interior furnishings (kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment units, librarys, etc.) for 3 years, then did another 3 years of interior trim (mostly crown moulding, some baseboard/casing/wainscotting, etc.) and for now I'm sitting high building all those lovely condos you see going up in Toronto. Yea those are my concrete trucks filling the streets and causing headaches every day.

Retired.
Over 32 years in law enforcement with Toronto Police (last few years as a GWAG - Geek With A Gun - in Tech. Crime) - retired 2007;
Then...Manager, Digital Forensics & Training with a Victoria-based company - retired 2010;
And then...Director of Forensics with a Mississauga-based company - retired 2011.
Took 3 tries, but retirement finally stuck!
Just turned 58!

Burning Brakes
Retired as partner in Big 4 Accounting firm in 2005 after 41+ years. Stayed retired one day then started my own accounting practice. Having a ball with it.

Built & raced Honda Civics in the '80s, started a sound company in 1986, worked as an audio tech, ran a web development company for 3 years, went back & toured again, did more shows, then moved to Ontario in 2006 to take a position as manager of tech support for a national distributor of professional audio products. Found time to get back into cars, woooo!

Hmmm. Very similar to Fanny Bay R1.... retired Canadian Air Force Officer (Aerospace Engineer) - + 20 year and now a program manager for an aircraft parts company out of Oakville, ON.

Was an Technical sales rep, IT manager and Product manager for a Medical device company.. My wife started up a Clinical Research Organization and I quit to work for her, IT and bookkeeping and generally anything that needs to get done.. She is one and only reason I am driving a Porsche
