Wife's car rear ended - Body shop rec's in Etobicoke?
Hey guys,
My wife's SUV sustained some minor bumper damage today. I haven't seen the damage, but a body shop in the North End claims it is repairable (vs. replaceable). The vehicle is 8 years old, and not 10/10 condition, so we aren't trying to gain a new bumper out of a minor fender bender.
Can anyone provide a recommendation for a decent body shop in Etobicoke (preferably south Etobicoke)? The other driver wants to handle it w/ cash, so I need an estimate asap.
Thanks.

I got rear ended in my 964 last fall. Took it to Vaughan Fine Touch in Concord - a little north of you, but they did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them.

i have used 427 auto collision several times over the years (kipling and Evans) he does some really high end stuff and i have never been disappointed. He works on everything not just high end and turnaround time is decent. He has a 356 convertible in there as we speak.

Thanks guys. Went to both 427 Auto & Hawley for quotes. Going to go with Hawley - quite a bit cheaper. I'll let you know the outcome.
I looked at the damage last night (in the dark, on a dirty car). Pretty minor. His bumper screw punctured the bumper. Some gouges from his plate, and scrapes at the bottom lip of the bumper. As his car rides lower than our SUV, the damage was pretty low on our vehicle.
Thanks all!

So, the car is at Hawley getting mended. Cash is in hand. Hawley arranged a Yaris as a rental.
I had to share this.... My wife's questions to me about the abilities of said Yaris...."it's so small. Is it ok to take it on the highway?"
Hilarious! She meant every word.

No insurance - cash from the offender. Really minor damage (a few gouges and a puncture in the bumper). 2 day rental.
The wife is too nice, and didn't want to have the other dude pay too much. She has catholic guilt.

My wife has now started calling the Yaris the pope-mobile (lots of vertical glass!). I think of it more as a Faux-cart.
A G37X would have been nice. She felt so bad for the other driver. Her heart bleeds. Fortunately, the other driver was a true gent, and shot her $100 extra for her troubles.
