Agree with most here, the rear is a huge disappointment. I don't know what they were thinking!! You are supposed to take styling cues from the top of the line model and trickle them down into the cheaper ones, not the other way around.
Otherwise it looks OK, interior is much improved. I am sure the Z06 and ZR1 will be insane performance wise.
I'm taking my son ps3 and dowloading the car tomorrow... Anyone playing gt5 we could try making a group , i'v seen a tread for forza on the forum, and i was curious or jealous... Sorry off topics !!!
I downloaded the DLC tonight.
Just ran a 1:37.100 completely stock with it at Laguna seca. Stock meaning crappy sport tires (hard compound)
That is pretty good time, since in real life a 997.2 GT3 RS did it in 1:36.77 and Corvette Z06 Z07 in 1:37.40
First impression is ... I like it, except for the rear end ... to Camaro like ... but I want to wait, and see it in person before I make my final judgement.

Not too much love for the car on the Corvette Forum. And these are from Corvette guys, ouch. I thing the exterior is an improvement, much more updated. The interior is a different story, so much plastic. Why do they still insist on making the dash look like a 90's video game? Carpeting looks like its out of a 60's Camaro I used to own 30 years ago. Somehow the designers at GM always seem to lose it in the details. It is so much closer to a beautiful package, but these small items will turn some buyers off.
A couple of days in and it's growing on me. Just went over to Chevrolet.ca and the outgoing model starts at $60,000 so this is HUGE value any way you slice it.
