Hey guys, a little off topic, but wondering if anyone has a referral to a decent
BMW shop in the GTA..I'm trying to update my iDrive firmware on my wife's
daily and the dealers I've called so far are either not understanding my inquiry,
or are making so much money that they do not need my business..

When i had an M3 i used to go to RMP motors.... Rocco is an awesome mechanic and very reliable... 416-679-0302.... Call them im sure they can help you out or atleast point you in the right direction

Try to look on E90 Forum. Search for a User "DimSum"

I'm serious... He's a E90 Electronics GURU.

The BMW dealership network in the GTA is hilarious. Basically I'm told that
unless something is wrong with my iDrive, they won't perform a firmware
update. So with that logic, if I had tires on my car with 2000kms on them,
and wanted a new set of tires, because as a customer that's what I want,
they would turn me away and say; unless something is wrong with them, we
wont' change them. WTF?

I wish I could get intouch with DimSum, though, he's been in Asia for the
last year or so.

I'll give RMP a call next.
