OT: New Blackberry Porsche design phone
I guess this thing was for sale in Europe but it is now available in Canada. I'm not sure about this thing. Outdated OS and It doesn't even look that nice. $2000 is outrageous! Rim really needs to get BB10 on the market.

Any of these "designer" type versions are simply wildly overpriced and need to be changed out at the same rate as the regular models. If you're not Paris Hilton, no need to buy

I saw this in Toronto during the Yorkville Exotic Car show.
Nice but would you really spend that kinda money?
It'd be better to have a phone case.
Then again with Rim just hanging on the way it is now..........would you?

Hell No! I don't think I would spend $500 on that phone. It was the first time I had seen it so I thought I would share. I thought if it had the Porsche nameplate on it would at least look a better. I'm a BB supporter so I am waiting for BB 10.

Worse part is that it doesn't even feel high quality. At least Mobiado and Vertu phones are solid...if rediculous.

This is not a new phone. I recall seeing them for sale about a year+ ago. Someone was actually offering them on Rennlist or 6 speed about 4 months ago for $600. It was a scam. Send the money by telegram to England and they'd send a phone! I replied no and they then came back at sending 1/2 up front. I countered with I would only use a real credit card (so I'm protected) and they never came back to me.
