would have been cool to have a giant Castrol sign for the garage ... other than that not much iconic about that dump.

FYI: It wasn't always Castrol. I recall when I was a kid roaring around on my bike it was Esso at first and then various other sponsors after..
Talked to a friend who races in the Gt Sprints series today. He says at least they're going up market, (the race control will be across track in the new center) next time they get called in front of the race Director to be screamed at. He was tired of the 50's era wood paneling. Of course I said stop blowing waved yellows and you'll never have to see the new decor next year. <smirk>

I won't miss the damn pigeons that used to roost under the Castrol sign and drop s@#t bombs when they felt like it.
