Equivalent to G12?
Is there anything out there that CT or PS would have or is my only other option is the VW dealer?

Are you talking coolant?
If so, back when I had my Jetta I ended up going to the VW dealer for it - $30...... and then the jug of coolant over time developed a crack bouncing around in my trunk and emptied itself into my trunk.... what a mess!

Imre i think peak Global is equivalent to g12. Not sure who carries it tho. As usual flush out all the old.
I went with coolant from a us supplier. Pentafrost which is definitely compatible.

I paid 28 with taxes the last time I bought some at the VW dealer here in Guelph. Even CT is $18 so I figured that extra $10 was not that big of a deal ($20 in your case) (although the might drive you over the edge ;-) )
