There you go. A real "policy" they have there...

I'm not going to take sides here, but I think the OP is PO'd (no pun intended) because dealer repaired one of his tires originally when it was under warranty and now they are refusing to. So they are doing it out of their convenience, do a patch while under warranty to save them $ and then claiming they don't patch when out of warranty so that he has to buy new tires.

I think thats what I interpreted with a couple of his earlier posts.

But, I'd bet dollars to donuts that if my earlier flat had not been insured, they would have said that they have a policy of not repairing flats and that replacing the tire was the only option. There is a lack of honesty out there among the dealers which is what I find troubling.
So why the issue with Downtown. You should have had the issue with Pfaff.

As you have already confirmed it was NOT Downtown's warranty.

So Pfaff was willing to take a risk and patch your tire instead of replacing it as they should have under their warranty. They are the dealer that you should be pissed at.

Downtown has nothing to gain by patching your tire and everything to lose.

TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS.

He bought the car from Pfaff and it was Pfaff that offered the tire warranty.

It was Pfaff that repaired his first flat.

The second flat he took to Downtown. Downtown did not have anything to do with the tire warranty nor was the tire policy from Porsche.

Downtown (the dealer the op was pissed at) had NOTHING to do with the warranty.
