Should always have a radar detector - but these rules are absolutely ridiculous and do absolutely nothing for driver safety - the nanny state at it's best!!

Depends on which side of the fence you're on... I'm the first one to complain of crazy nut jobs flying past me when I'm doing 120km/h in a 100 zone, while in our sedan with my wife and daughter strapped in.. But put me in the 911 on a sunny day with a few open lanes and I'm the nut job

BC Sportbikes wants to organize a speed limit (or maybe just below) run up the S2S this weekend up to Whistler - taking both lanes. They are just as pissed off with this as sports car enthusiasts should be - would be good to have a bunch of Porsches show up to help the cause!!

They are l;ooking for sports cars and exotics to take up the rear so they don't get killed by some irrate mini-van driver!!!

In BC Cars can be impounded for 7 days at 40kph over. Also if they think they've got a chance at a "racing" issue they can keep them and have done.

The resentment on the comments is instructive...12 pages of replies in the paper there. Porsche drivers do not appear to enjoy any popularity.

Now that is a Dr. Evil plan, I like it. To have a good defence, those in the left lane should drive 0.5 km/h over the limit and the ones in the right at the limit, so technically the left lane is passing.
