What does a recall letter supposed to look like?

Got confirmation that thr letter was accepted. In a few days, I'll tow it to CT for federalization. Not that it matters but engine and rear bumber are still off the car. However when you turn the key, the dash still functions normally.

They will when I jump the fuse panel. The dash and all the acceroes work as if the engine was still in there. The headlights works too. It makes sense as the engine and the body have been on totally different circuits for at leat 15 years. I just never tried it with a car. Its weird feeling becuase when you sit in and turn the key, everything powers up but there is this huge hole in the back where the engine used to be.

I photocopied the job mgmt system output with a business card of the Service Manager and I was good to go...
My understanding is that "Open Campaigns: No" is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the help guys. Took the car in for Federalization this evening, passed no problem. Inspector goes: Can you start it without pushing the clutch in. Me: There is no engine. Inspector: Ok....lets assume it does. . I don't think he was supposed to check that on a '99 but since he didn't care, neither did I.

Imo:
Are you installing the LN Engineering kit while the engine's out?
Well done, on the inspection. He might have insisted on seeing daytime running lights, with an engine running.

The daytime running light were working with the ignition on and he was ok with that. He wanted to see if there was a dissabling switch on the clutch bht those are only mandatory for later years. I'm weighing my options with the LN bearing right now. The existing bearing will be pulled for sure just haven't fully decided what will go back in.

Never heard of the disabling switch on the clutch.
