Default 6th Gear lapping day offer- July 4th

I am registered for 6th Gear this coming Wednesday, but I lost my clutch while on track yesterday and won't have my car back in time to go. I am offering my spot to anyone interested in going; I paid $500 and will sell it for $400. For those of you that aren't familiar with 6th Gear, they are by far the best lapping day group out there. Participation is capped at 35 cars, and there are no run groups which means unlimited track time. On top of that, they serve a ridiculously good gourmet Italian lunch and beer afterwards. PM me or call me at 416.301.7922.

Hey Chris, I have a buddy that might be interested. Is this still available?

BTW, I notice you were sidelined yesterday, sorry to hear!

Yeah, what a drag. My clutch pedal went straight to the floor on my 3rd lap...luckily it went on the approach to turn 9 so I could cruise into the pits. Did you have a good day? And yes, the spots still available.

Cheers

Except for a couple of phone meetings in the afternoon, the day was great. I'm a fan of the EA track days, they run a fun program. I'll send your contact info to my buddy, coincidental about 3 hours ago he was talking about signing up.

Did you have the clutch problem checked? Whats the issue?

I knew when I bought the car during the winter that it would need a clutch before long, and I have gotten 5 track days out of it so I'm not too surprised. I'm just glad that it didn't crap out at the bottom of 4, or it might have ended differently. I agree on the EA Days, tons of running time and a well behaved group. The only exception was when Ludwig Heimrath passed me on the entry to 2, but I was told to expect that.

Yes, I had to make way a couple of times as well for the race cars. I found myself checking the mirrors much more frequently then I normally do. Keeps you on your toes!

I know what you mean, that was a high car count for an EA day and those Trans Am cars are bloody quick!
