Engine removal party - Fun? - Wow!.
Hi all,
I have all of next weekend (June 15,16 or 17) free to work on completing my engine removal. If anyone is interested in helping out, or even just hanging out you are more than welcome.
Imre and Steve, I hope you two are available. Mike S. I can come by and pick you up. Murray, Eric would be good to see you guys too. Anybody else who wants to come is more than welcome. Rear engined guys are welcome as well.
I have MaxJax that can be used if anybody wants to do an oil change or any other type of projects on the lift. Steve, you can do your clutch if you still have to do it. I think we shouldbe able to get it done with all of the potential knowledge that could be mustered.
I will bring the beer and some food. Also the Air show is running that weekend so if anybody wanted to stop by then go to the airshow, that would be fine too.

I'm free Saturday, though thinking of going to the GTG for the first time this season (finally got the 911 back on the road yesterday). What time were you thinking?

Gawkers are welcome ! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
I would like to start at around 8 or 9 depending on everyone's schedule. I know others will be coming from out of town so I am flexible. I figure about 2-3 hours for engine removal if we have someone who knows what they are doing. I have all of the WSMs and internet for further clarification. This should give ample time for anyone who wants to head up to the Airshow after. There are showers in the building if someone really wants to get elbow deep before heading up to the airport.
Location is off of Sherman Ave N, just north of Barton in the 270 Sherman building, but entrance is on 36 Biggar Ave. between Sherman and Lottridge Ave. Sign out front says Crescent Cabinet Co. Ltd. Parking is out back. There is a back entrance which is where we will be located most of the time.

I will try to stop by, I can't be much help (physically) though since I buggered my shoulder again changing my steering rack, and I need to nurse it for a while.
But it would be nice meet a few more of the local guys.
FYI I have a torque multiplier if you need. Great for stubborn bolts.

I'll drop by, my 928 is on the road but the clutch is on it's last legs. Might just bring the half a million Km diesel instead. See you in a couple of days.

Looks like the family wants to go strawberry picking on Saturday. And since Sunday is Fathers day, my weekend is pretty much booked up.
