Hey Phil,
Not true. I went to a couple of stores in Markham, they are all on sale including 15w50 & 0w40. I picked up 24 of them yesterday.
Not sure the same in downtown area. Check it out.

Its all on sale as per Canadiantire.ca. Just select the grade and it shows the price. I grabbed some 0W40 today for top up purposes, all grades had sale tags. This was at Bay/Dundas.
