Default CDR-220 Radio Issues

It appears that my CDR--220 has developed a mind of its own. Volume level toggles between level 16/17 when turning up or down. Periodically it will also not respond to mute, power off, station selection etc. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I only use the radio on a 'part time' basis however it certainly helps on 300 mile highway 5th gear road trips.

Cheers....

Electronic gremlins like these could be due to any number of things within the unit and will be difficult to track down, probably best to look for one in the used market, they come up ever so often for around $100.

If the processor is toasted urban done. Maybe just the volume control. Problem is these are throw away items these days. I'd second a replacement

Thanks guys. I'll keep an eye out (or should I say ear to the ground) for a 'new' one.
