Default body/paint shops in Edmonton/Calgary

Can anyone recommend a reputable body/paint shop in Alberta? I had some rocks chips and spider cracks on the front bumper, and the inner wheels well lips are all orange peeled...plus I have a huge paint chip on the front fender.

I want to get my car wrapped this summer, but I'd like to repair all this damage before I wrap it.

Any recommendations? Personal experiences?

Thanks
sean

Depends on what you want! Modern Autobody is the best autobody shop in Edmonton. Just be prepared to pay for it. If your willing to pay, you won't be dissapointed no matter how picky you are. Dougs Autobody is just Ok. Not on Moderns level.

Maranello's in Calgary is also a great place to get quality work. Refine Auto in Calgary does some amazing custom wrap jobs.

Thanks.

I'm getting a satin dark grey or satin black. I see a lot of flat black, not interested....but I've recently seen some satin finished black with gold flecks. Not 70's gold flecks...but it's subtle. I plan to pair that with some gold rims.

Just gotta figure out what I'm going to do with my brake callipers

Default OUCH

well, unfortunately, my poor baby got crunched in a parking lot last night

So, now I'm getting a quote from Modern Autobody...sadly, State Farm tells me they are not on their select service list so I'll most likely have to pay extra out of my pocket for the work. Oh well, at least I'll know it being done right....

Some sad, sad pics for ya.....

**** man that really sucks and looks really expensive. I dont think those Rear Quater Panels are Repairable, i have heard in this situation its a Cut and Weld a new one in kind of thing. If you need advise contact Pfaff Autoworks here in Toronto and Talk to Mike Sgambati, maybe he can reccomend you a Body Shop in your Area. Never know

Maybe Drive/Ship your car over to Toronto to Pfaff Autoworks? Or maybe even Drive South to the US, If you want it done Right. Not sure if that will work with your Insurance.

When i had my Incident last July, my insurance Royal Bank advised me Pfaff Autoworks was not on their Approved List either but they dint have a Problem with it, Everything was Smooth.

Best to go in to Modern in person. Just make sure who you want to see is there!
You might have to wait a bit too. Last I heard it was a 1 month wait just to get in for repair. That was in April so who knows?

Yea you can do that, when i first took my car to Pfaff Autoworks i asked for a Tour of the Shop, Equipment and Process. Which they gave and convinced me. But all in all... all body shops loaft.
