Guys, great to meet you all today (for the first time). Got to admit, a solid group of p-car enthusiasts, and a great group of guys in general. The Turbos looked great, but i have to admit I was surprised at how well my 1999 3.4 performed. Special thanks to Sheldon for the organization. Ill try to make it out to more of the Sat GTGs. Cheers.

That's great that your car surprised on the upside...it certainly seems quick on the track! Sorry I missed it, I had to go to the UCR Open House to try and sell my 993 Well, I did get to see a 964 Turbo S though....

Did expect to do a run but what the heck.. since I'm already here right ? I was pissing in my pants when zookie did 300HP and the 997.1 S did a 325. I would never hear the end of day unless I put down 300HP as well.. boy was I surprise.

I missed your run Kevin, but 318 is awesome considering a S did 325.

My car is going back in on Tuesday next week . Will post up results, good or bad. Going through his data base he had quite a few Stock 996 3.6l over 310 hp, so we shall see. Clearly my GIAC tune is junk as it made more hp at 5100rpm than at 6400rpm (tq was OK at 264ft/lb but trailed off like a boat anchor), and maybe even some of the mods.

Well if they avg 310, then I am ok with being 11 hp down. I suspect having the free flow exhaust causes loss of back pressure and the car is down becuase of it.

Think I rather hear to engine then go back to stock though.

Looking forward to see your results. I have the GIAC chip as well.

Did anyone in the group feel they got a HP benefit from any mod of any type ? I think I counted 5 of the 11 p-cars with some sort of mod..but other than 9six4 and his mysterious 6th gear , did anyone else score higher than stock ?
