We've flown AC for years, and have almost always had great service.
It seems to me that management and the workers have worn each other out. I don't think there is enough money in the air transport business to support the kinds of wages and benefits that existed in the past, so the whole thing had to eventually collapse in on itself. Maybe that has to happen again.
I don't think that the current employees are in a frame of mind to work in a Westjet type model.

Maybe management should cut their overblown wages by 80%.
If they don't like the idea, I know I can get someone to do a better job than they can for 10% less...and then another, for another 10% less, and so on.
I don't think I have ever seen any of these mega dollar clowns do anything special and the very few than can are a rare breed.
