Auto policy
I own an 88 944S with about 196.K`s
I own two other vehicles and have my house all insured with one Broker.
I never really paid much attention to how much each car and the house cost to insure. Just pay it .
I get a renewal today for my Porsche and the yearly premium is $ 95.00.
It`s an Easter to Turkey Day car, garage Queen.
I have a spotless drivers abstract and my wife and son are good as well.
Also a $300.00 deduct.
Is this too good to be true ? Should I call my Broker to confirm or clam up ?
It`s not Silver Wheels and I won`t divulge the Underwriter.
Is it because of my age and my driving record ?
I did see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan as a kid .

probably is correct. just pay it and enjoy. I wonder what value they have put on it. my 87 951 with silver wheels bill came today for $165 with 19a at $18k.
I assume you saw Beatles on Ed Sullivan on tv not live right?

Check to make sure you have full coverage as $95 doesn't even cover public liability. There is no way they can cover you for what amounts to $13.57 per month x 7 months! If you say you've got a $300 deductible then you've put collision on it as well so that makes this fee way, way under valued.
Add in comprehensive? Again, I don't get it? Value aside, just the 'risk' of having you on the road is the most expensive part of car insurance. After that comes replacement value and property damage.
In your 88's case the buy out is low. There should be a break down on your renewal sheet that shows the itemized list for each asset covered - see what each item is valued at. Even with an umbrella policy it's not even covering two months in the GTA for the avg liability portion. I vote it's a mistake and keep very quiet...

Upon further review,
It was the renewal for my storage coverage.
I did get a quote for the street and I`m good with it.
My Broker allows me to switch to Winter Garage Queen coverage. I think that I read on this board that some don`t ?
Yes, it was on TV that I saw the Beatles ya , ya, ya.
Not sure if Topo Giggio was on the bill the same night.
Just time stamped myself.
