Final outcome: PCA does not allow anyone under 18 yrs old to participate in the DE's, and the IDS is included as a DE event. Therefore I will find an alternate route. thanks again for the suggestions.

Drivers,
It feels like late March out not. Some silly trees are thinking of budding out. Maple syrup camps are in full flow. Whatever happened to winter, as we knew it?
If your energy levels are getting the spring urges automotively speaking, come join us this Sunday February 12 at the Mosport DDT track. In addition to the full school for those seeking driver training, we will also have lapping on the track.
Last Sunday we had 3 inches of ice on the skidpad and patches of ice and slush on the track, a perfect learning day. It looks like this Sunday the pavement will be bare. Time to get that oil hot, and get the rust off the brake rotors!
If you want to learn, we have the program for you. If youd like to lap, we have the track for you.
Come and practice your skid recovery with us not on your local main street. Sunday, February 12th is the next Bridgestone Canadian Winter Driver Training Day at Mosports DDT.
Any new drivers in the family, any inexperienced drivers please encourage them to learn skid control, emergency braking and collision avoidance. When a skid happens for real on the roads, you generally have one chance to correct before things turn ugly. That is not a time for on-the-job-training. Get some experience for your brain to work with, and you will take the fear out of the driving equation.
Bring your car and we will teach you how to skid and recover, avoid collisions and improve your driver response time to the unexpected.
Sunday, February 12/12 we will be at Mosports skidpad. The cost of each day is $295 per person. Lunch will be provided, and you will get a certificate of achievement acknowledging your course completion at the end of the day.
Advanced drivers who want to lap $150. Instruction extra.
Pre-registration and prepayment only, no arrive and drive.
Why not make it a family day? Family discounts are available on request.
