Don't I know it. I put over $64 of V-Power 100 in my motorcycle back in 2008...the price per meter was 1.74 Euro at the time.

I run a 3:1 mix of pump premium (mostly Shell, but I have had to use Esso or Petrocan in the past) and 100LL AVGAS. There are benefits to owning a pre-emissions 911!

Aral in Germany has it and BP in the UK. I haven't seen it yet in France or Italy where your lucky to find 100. It cost over 100 euro a tank last summer with the higher prices.

Shell 91. No ethanol. When I posted on this topic last I mentioned my brother (a BMW master tech) telling me that when he has fuel pressure issues in customer cars it's always from ethanol based fuels dissolving sludge from the gas station's fuel tanks and getting lodged in the car.
There is no real advantage to 3 points of octane that makes it worth it imo.

Shell 91 ... no corn gas.
A petro-can at VP & Ellesmere rd seems to have 100% 87 octane in their tanks. I seem to get the best milage from these pumps in my F 150 ... less if I fill up elsewhere where the pumps have the ethanol content listed ...

V- Power works great in my Honda snow blower too.Normally when doing the first start up it was a three step process. Try to start, does`nt, pull the plug and clean it let the cyl breath, then repeat process ,maybe three times. It`s a Honda it will start,,,eventually.
This year fresh V- Power and only one plug clean.I went through the owners manual and there was nothing on the octain rating.Still worried that it may burn a hole in the top of the piston, thinking about doing a blend.
I figure that I might get at least 15 more feet out of the chute using V- Power

i surfed this question a few weeks ago and figure that it doesn't.
so i've just started using shell premium gas in all my hobby cars/bikes designed for regular gas. i figure the higher price for shell (zero ethanol) 91octane premium gas is more than compensated by higher miles per gallon compared to (10% ethanol) 87 octane regular gas. so the shell 91 is actually cheaper than esso 87 when mileage is taken into account.
