Can anyone recommend a software tax product for a small "sole proprietor" business in Canada. I just started a new IT job. It's a contract position where I will be operating as a sole proprietor and am wondering if there is a software tax product that will handle basic business deductions such as car expenses, home office expenses and possible equipment purchases.

 

they all will do it. Simply accounting and quick books seem to be preferred and are inexpensive.

Simply Accounting Pro work for me. I suck at this part of business and have a lady come in once a month to keep things normal.

 

Talk to your accountant. Mine prefers me tracking things using a simple spreadsheet.

 

I'm confused. Are you looking for tax software or accounting software? If it's tax software, I'd recommend StudioTax. It's free and I've used it for 4 years. Excellent software.
