Why not? Three little letters... RMS.

I think you mean IMS
that is very funny wording
...it will most likely improve your life, create feelings of euphoria, and actually extend your life....

Well, sure you need to worry about both, no? In any case, I think the rep of these early engines is enough to drive the pricing seen here. And for all the fancy prose, the seller doesn't make mention of the most impt selling point, an uprated IMS / RMS fix.

72k miles - if it's not dripping now it's probably fine. I'd be more concerned about the replaced left suspension bits. Only one reason for that.

He tried to sell this car last year. It had GT3 body parts on it that I saw him trying to sell separately a while back. The mileage was a lot lower then - now it's 111KM's.

The way he is marketing this car is to sell it to the Porsche newbie - the ill informed - the anti eyes wide open segment.

Anyone who buys this car without a PPI that includes an accident / body guy expert is crazy. I'm willing to bet you don't get full records or any bill showing an IMS replacement either. That's an extra $2K. Then the AOS? Water pump? Shocks? Tire tread left? That $28K just turned into $38K. Now your in a CPO 2007 price point for a bit more coin.

If the car is PERFECT and has a new ceramic IMS bearing - yeah sure, $28 would be fair price. If not - $22K tops. But he doesn't want to sell to 'our type'...
