Default Headlight covers

My wife`s DD 02 Altima head light covers were discoloured.**** yellow to be exact.I think the Coyotes were using them for target practice.
I looked at a couple of $40. 3 step products but didn`t buy one.
I was in Princess Auto a few weeks ago and found a liquid product, " Blue Magic " $9.
Simple process same as waxing a car. Wax on, wax off.I did 2 applications, no buffer wheel, just clean shop towels.A little Mothers spray-on detail wax to finish and they look great.
I don`t work for Princess Auto or Blue Magic. Just a lazy *** that found an easy way to do it.

Next time try toothpaste. It worked better and faster than the 3M product I got.

I was a skeptic also. You'd be amazed what you find on Youtube. I did try it and it worked.

I've tried them all, 3M kit, toothpaste, Turtle Wax's Crome Polish, Mequire's plastic plosk kit and the 3M seem to last the logest. In reality you should polish it to perfection and then spray it with clearcoat.

Toothpaste is a polishing cream so it's not suprising it works. You can get about 80% results with very little work, to get that last 20%, takes a lot of work and the 3M kit did it for me.
