Very cool, but I'm not sure I get the "blowing up" between the 997 and 991 (or whatever it's called). I get it between 1973 and 74 - a major body redesign, and I could understand it between the 993 and 996, but the 991 just doesn't look that much different than the 997.

 

Which in my opinion, is a good thing.
