Is the track getting re-surfaced?

Wasn't the track resurfaced about ten years ago? wouldn't they just repave new tunnel area through 10 to save cost? ( from turn 9 through turn 10 )

 

Sounds about right. I remember driving the track in the early 90's. The surface sure was challenging! Very hard on suspension/wheels. Single file around the pot holes at turn 5 please! Just reminds me of the CASCAR's coming to the track, and entering turn 5 3 wide!!!
(No it doesn't work unless the outside cars run two wheels on two wheels off!)

 

the pavement seems&changes make for some fun drifts when you least expect it too

The echo just won't be the same in that big tunnel. They're making progress, eh?

 

And no more near head on's either.

You'll still have the echo's in the turn one tunnels... (for now)

Im sure everyones seen the 2012 events list. but i was just wondering whos planning to attend the May gt3 event at mosport? Im sure most are going to the June ALMS. Im so excited. I was checking out the facebook page and it's coming along. The new bridge is looking great. I wonder if they have anymore plans
