Thanks, you're probably right.

I have heard of some recent thefts around Mosport so I wouldn't trust it

I'm generally very cautious, so can't help but wonder about these things. Would be very easy when you're on the track and everything is left behind unlocked. At first I was worried to leave the car overnight during a DE weekend, but was told by most to not worry about it...?

I guess that it's all about "an ounce of prevention".

Well lets see; we had our large wood pile set on fire this year, about 12 trailers broken into this spring, a few over the winter. Knock wood mine has been untouched so far but then it pays to look low rent. LOL One trailer to the left of me broken into and a generator stolen and one on the other side had the door kicked in just for a look see I guess. We figure local kids and the police were called over the last rash of what really end up as vandalism as they are not getting too much in the way of assets. The track day coordinator Robb had his car trashed last year, (he left it there during the winter) broken windows and the like so I wouldn't recommend leaving your car unattended. If I was staying up there this week you could park it with mine but I have stuff to do this week and my Dad's sick. There ARE workers staying up all week and through the weekend, Frank or Judy, so you could ask them if you could park it beside their trailers if that helps.

Thanks Doug, that's scary stuff. I guess I'll just take the kit home on Thursday night.

Would be nice if part of the new owners' improvement plan included garages and some security upgrades. Or how about a club and club-member's private paddock. Should be careful what I wish for though, cause I probably couldn't afford any of that anyway.

I noticed that you started the Boxter weight loss program. Roll bar soon? Stripping the interior too?

Hello.. new to this Forum.
My name is Grant Thomas. I am an automotive artist using a variety of mediums - watercolour, ink, oil on canvas, photography, acrylic...
May I please request to join you at this event to take pics for future paintings and to do some sketching around the lot?
I have attended Ferrari track days and concours so I know how to respect high end cars.

I hope this is possible.. I look forward to seeing this event...

Thank you!

As long as you are not soliciting the participants for business, we are cool with that. If you intend to have lunch with us, there is a $25.00 contribution.
