cleaning post track day 'junk'
I was at mosport for the 3 day weekend last weekend and im trying to get my car clean now. I have black marks all over the front and near the wheels... feels greasy, like rubber. it isnt really coming off to easily with soap and water. Any tips?
edit: ok easily comes off the painted body, but not the clear bra bits. It really stuck on there. Thanks.

DON'T rub the clear bra very hard or use elbow grease. It will surely scratch. Try using some of your favorite wax, in a small test area, on a clean saturated cloth, to see if the black marks will come off the clear bra.

I'd be careful with Goo Gone on the paint protection stuff. That's vinyl and it may melt away with the tolulene.

You want this: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/amw.aspx
Miracle Wash
Won't strip wax and all the crap will come off if you get to it fairly quickly. Leave it on all season and the black marks won't fully come off clear bra.

Unless I'm mistaken tolulene is a product of 3M 2 - 3M Scotch-Grip Solvent.
This is only used when applying old school vinyl products that don't have adhesive backing. The solvent is used to strip away excess adhesive.
The current films we see applied to our cars:
3M Ventureshield
3M 1080
3M DiNOC
all have pressure sensive adhesive.
Product construction of our films:
Premask (127m, 5 mil)
Protective Clear Coat
Ink(s) Optional
Vinyl Film (51m, 2 mil)
Acrylic Adhesive (25m, 1 mil)
Release Liner (114m, 4.5 mil)
Ventureshield was used on my bumpers.
I personally have used 1080 to film my grill.
I would never use Goo Gone on my paint. No way.
But on 3M film if sprayed on and wiped off quickly it cuts through oily type residue. Then followed by a quick wash of a paper towel with dish soap and water will get the Goo Gone off and hopefully that melted mixture of road tar and tire tar.
Please test this elsewhere prior to doing this on your car.

The guy who Bra my car is Marco of Advance Mobile Group.
He is really good. Lots of fchat guys use him.

As for smaller parts it I have done it myself with great success. It is a pain and it does take some time. But all you need is a spray bottle, heat gun(or hair dryer) and a lot of kneeding and rubbing and patience.
I had gone to a known 3M installer establishment to get my grill filmed. They tried 5 times and failed.
I thought it through and did it myself. Prepping, cutting and patience is key.
Did you need something (an item or part) wrapped..I can help you out.
I won't touch car wrapping and leave that to the experts.
