Hey Dave, nice to meet you today. Thanks for saying hello and for the compliments. I just signed up with this forum. I was a member a few years back but forgot my password, my email has changed and so I decided to re-enlist with a new account.
Hope to see you guys on the road or at the Sunday meet sometime, probably in the spring now. Not sure how many days before I take my car off the road for winter.
Best Regards, Norm

That's me. I work for DRDC Ottawa at Shirley's Bay. My group installs our radar on the Convair 580 at U61 from time to time. Let me know where you are and I'll drop in and say hi next time I am there.

Norm - It's good to have you here. Haven't seen you at an RSR dinner for a while, not that I've been a regular. Maybe we'll meet up at the Trainyards, weather cooperating.

I'm an aircraft mechanic in the hangar so just look for the guy in blue coveralls that isn't wrenching on the Convair!

Forecast was accurate, with the exception of the huge death-cloud blotting out the sun for a bit. Still, four brave friends (three with heaters) faced the elements for what might possibly have been the last hurrah for Cars & Coffee with the cars.
Note to self: Silver is boring, buy some orange paint and a roller for next summer.

Well done guys. I had wanted to be there but had an opportunity to sleep in, what with my little guy staying with the grandparents.
Forecast looks good for the week. Maybe Sunday will be reasonable too.

It looks ....
colder than a well diggers ares! Oh well, must go outside now...can't forget the sun screen...it will be 80 degrees F today. Don't know how to convert to C, yet. When Canada buys us, we'll go to the metric system!

Hey guys - I don't know that I'll be able to join you guys again before the big sleep, but I'll be sure to schedule weekend activities for the kids on Saturday mornings from here on in! Dave, thanks again for kicking this off; I think we'll have some good momentum for the spring.
All the best, guys!

With the time change tonight, we'll have an extra hour for the temps to come up! It's calling for 0*C at 9:00am but the sun will be shining down on our frosty Porsches so it should be pleasant!
