Well the GF and I are doing our first fun PCA rally and I'm wondering which GPS would be best for this application? It looks like it needs to keep average stage speed as well as stage and cumulative kilometers. Research so far indicates one of the Garmin Nuvi. Our goal is to finish the same day as Ronan and his OH! I'll also want to use it for local traffice updates on a daily basis. I've checked the rally thread to no avail. What do you think?

 

the gps is not really helpful on the rally, as long as you have a working ododmeter. I like garmins interface , but now I mostly use my iphone with a few different apps.

 

Do any of the iPhone apps allow voice commands? Which app to you prefer?

 

Odometer is pretty inaccurate and me likey navigator do all the tuff mental work....I got the Garmin 1450 LMT.
